Greetings and thank you for visiting!
I am a self-taught artist and never in a million years would have thought I’d be painting (especially since it was always the “cool kids” that took art in school and I was a bit introverted)! I trained and worked in the aerospace industry as an Industrial engineer, project engineer and project manager for many years, however, what turned me to painting was a lost mid-term pregnancy. My grief counselor at the time suggested I try to take some time and do something completely different from aerospace–so I took a Bob Ross weekend course and quickly discovered that I am definitely not Bob Ross (!) but loved to play with the colors! When Bob Ross said “Sap Green”, I painted “Prussian Blue” instead. Over the years, I practiced by imitating my favorite artists such as Matisse, Picasso and Magritte until I was able to flow my personal emotions into what became my personal style of painting which I tend to call Pop art of the human condition. My first painting sold at Kathleen’s Art Cafe in Dallas Texas and things moved forward from there such as showing at the Petroleum Club, restaurants, galleries and fundraisers. Most of what you will see in the backgrounds is a Dallas skyline since I left my heart there many years ago and remember it fondly.
I hope you enjoy the site and the paintings! Please reach out to me if you have any questions or comments, I’d love to hear from you!
Have a great day,
